Ignatios Chatziandreou ist in Athen geboren und besitzt neben der griechischen auch die deutsche Staatsb\u00fcrgerschaft. Er hat sein Abitur in Griechenland absolviert. Anschlie\u00dfend studierte er von 1995 bis 2002 Medizin an der Justus-Liebig-Universit\u00e4t in Gie\u00dfen. W\u00e4hrend des Studiums arbeitete er parallel als Assistent in der Physiologie, f\u00fcr Studenten im Vordiplom.<\/p>\n<p>Seine Doktorarbeit absolvierte er 2005 mit der Note CUM LAUDE zu dem Thema: \u201cLangzeitergebnisse der erfolgreich abgeschlossenen konservativen Therapie mit Fettweis-Hockgips bei H\u00fcftluxation Typ III und IV nach Graf\u201c.[\/vc_column_text][vc_text_separator title=&#8220;Erfahrung&#8220; title_align=&#8220;separator_align_left&#8220;][vc_column_text]Seinen beru\ufb02ichen Werdegang begann Dr. Chatziandreou als Assistenzarzt in der orthop\u00e4dischen Klinik im Klinikum Dortmund im August 2002.<\/p>\n<p>Von April 2003 bis September 2004 arbeitet er in der unfallchirurgischen Klinik im Bethesda Krankenhaus Essen an der Ruhr. Anschlie\u00dfend kehrte er nach Dortmund in die Orthop\u00e4dische Klinik des Klinikum Dortmund zur\u00fcck. Im Jahr 2009 schloss er seine Weiterbildung zum Facharzt erfolgreich ab und arbeitete fortan als Facharzt im Klinikum Dortmund. Von 2011 bis 2015 war er <strong>Oberarzt in der Abteilung f\u00fcr Endoprothetik<\/strong> in derselben Klinik.<\/p>\n<p>Im Jahr 2012 begann er als <strong>einer der Pioniere in Deutschland mit der Implantation individualisierter Knie-Prothesen aus dem 3D-Drucker<\/strong>. Seit 2014 nimmt Dr. Chatziandreou kontinuierlich als eingeladener Referent, Dozent und Instruktor an verschiedenen internationalen Kongressen, Workshops und Instruktionskursen in ganz Europa im Bereich individualisierter Knie-Prothesen teil.<\/p>\n<p>Durch seine lange Besch\u00e4ftigung in der Abteilung f\u00fcr Sportmedizin im Klinikum Dortmund sowie als <strong>Mitglied des \u00c4rzteteams des Fu\u00dfballvereins Borussia Dortmund<\/strong>, erlangte er eine gro\u00dfe Erfahrung auf dem Gebiet der Sportorthop\u00e4die und Sportchirurgie.<\/p>\n<p>Seit 2016 arbeitet Dr. Chatziandreou als Koordinator der Abteilung f\u00fcr Orthop\u00e4dische Chirurgie und Traumatologie im Hospital Ochoa in Marbella (Spanien).
